In Canberra it is a requirement to have your home inspected with a report, before you can list your home for sale. These aree a package of inspections. They are the structural inspection, or the building inspection proper. There is the termite and timber pest inspection. There is the energy efficiency rating.
And lastly there is the compliance report, which is where the property is inspected to see if it complies with local bylaws and so on. With all these we collect the plans from the government, as a PDF file, and supply those as well.
