NOT recommended

I do NOT recommend hiring Jake from Suburban tree services. We received two quotes to remove some trees - there was a reason his was the cheapest by $300 and in hindsight the extra $ would have been worth every cent. He left me waiting for 2 hours before turning up with barely an apology and things only got worse from there. He failed to complete the job he'd quoted to do on the day and we had to get him back, and 6 weeks later we are still waiting for the whole job to be completed as discussed and agreed both verbally and in writing.

In my opinion, while his work is technically sound he is unreliable, immature, and unprofessional.

Also note that his claim on his website that it's a 3 generation business doesn't seem to be accurate as his ABN has been registered only since 2012 - as a sole trader.
